Kapatas are usually of four lines.

Hatuhaha is the city built on the rock which first rose above the waters.  The lowlands were still submerged then, but the teeming waters gradually receded.

The following kapata relates the splitting-up of Hitu, Luhu (Ceram, Hoamoal), Iha Lluhu (near Ruhu), and Iha of Saparua:

"Lexa Huamoal Kala Yuri Pari, Ehe Kala Nusa Hatuhahai"

("evacuate Hoalmoal, overthrow Yuripari, Nusa Hatuhahai cannot lose).
